The Province of Munster is made up of the following Counties:

The Dalcassians ruled the northern area of the Province of Munster.  The ruling family for centuries were the O'Briens:
    (Co. Clare and parts of Co. Tipperary, Co. Limerick and Co. Waterford)  The Dalcassians listed on this website are predominately from these four Counties within the northern part of the Province of Munster.

The Eugenians ruled the southern area of the Province of Munster.  The ruling family for centuries were the McCarthys:
    (Co. Cork, Co. Kerry, parts of Co. Limerick and Co. Waterford)
